Planet Frog: Live Frog Habitat is a great way to learn about our friends the frogs. This deluxe, lightweight, plastic frog habitat (15 by 8.5 by 6.75 inches) fits on an end table, yet is roomy enough for one or two frogs (3 inches or smaller). You may want to send off the included form to order a live tadpole or two (100-percent captive-bred leopard frog tadpole--Rana pipiens--indigenous to North America). Clever construction of the molded clear and opaque plastic allows you to see your pet swimming underwater and to observe close-up as the tadpole undergoes its transformation. Above water level, a little island, fake rocks, and plastic greenery provide landscape interest, and a faux rock cave offers shelter. The clear lid, which doubles as a magnifying glass to get a closer look at your frog, has air vents plus an opening to drop food in. You'll need bottled spring or drinking water and food, of course.
